| Key Verse: 2
Summary: Once again God is almighty, so strong and powerful. Isaiah extends on his glorification of God through out these verses. God will forever love and forever protect us, his people for all eternity. We as his children must abide and follow his commands, and plans for each and everyone one of us.
Application: While reading these verses, I couldn't help to think how B.A. God is. I mean verse 2 is crazy, it goes to show how powerful and just our Lord is. With so much power, and him as my father, as my protector I have nothing to fear. I will pray for strength, pray for a little help from God so that I can go out and exemplify and and be a good disciple and try and just bring others to Christ. With God on our side, we should have nothing to fear. There is no reason to fear rejection, or failure because God is almighty. Lord help me to be an out of closet christian.

- I want to be an out of closet christian, I want not to be scared and just tell everyone how I am, I pray for courage and the heart to do so.
- I pray for God centered relationships, that God will take control and his will and good will come out of it.

| Key Verses: 11-15
Summary & Application: Isaiah basically writes on how great, vast, huge, mighty, powerful God is. He writes in questions, saying that there is nothing in creation that is as infinite as God. When I read these scriptures, I thought back on the sermon Joon showed us in cell meeting where Louie Giglio spoke upon something like this. That sermon was one of the best I have seen or heard, and it really touched me and spoke to me. God is so immaculate, he is unfathomable, there is nothing in all of creation that is mightier then he, and yet, he still loves us and knows each and everyone of us by name. From doing today's QT, and recalling back upon the Giglio sermon, I truly want to live everyday for God; as many times as I may stumble, or as many times I just drift away from him purposfully, he still loves me. I in return, will stand for his name, and live my life for him.
Prayer Topics:
- I still struggle to find time to do QT, God please instill within me a passion just to live and look forward to doing QT, and help me not to think of it as a burden
- Lately I've been getting lazy with school, I pray that I stop being so lazy, and focus more on my studies.
- I pray that I become more passionate with wanting to serve God at church. Help me to become humble in knowing that it's not to glorify me, or the church, but it's all for God
- My bodies functioning all weird again, whatever is wrong with it I pray that God may heal it.

| Key Verse: 15
Summary: Jesus was bound and was handed over to Pilate to be judged. The chief priests made many accusations against Jesus, in which he made no reply to. Jesus was then taken in front of crowd at the feast, where it was tradition to ask the people if the prisoner should be set free or not. Pilate asked the crowd if Jesus should be released, to this they said to crucify him, sending free Barabbas who was a murderer. Pilate asked the crowd why, for what crime has he committed, to this once again the crowd just mobbed and wanted Jesus crucified. Since Pilate wanted to make the people happy, he did as he was told and handed Jesus over to be beaten and then crucified.
Application: There are times when I'm in a secular environment such as, work, school, or out shopping, when I hear people desecrating Jesus and Christianity. Sometimes I don't even feel compelled to say something, or just tell them that Jesus Loves them. I pray that when I am in an environment where the issue of Christianity is brought up with my non-christian friends, I will defend Jesus's name defiantly. Unlike Pilate, who KNEW that Jesus did no wrong, but wanting to make the people happy, he let Jesus die. God, help me stand up for your name, and show your grace as I live my life.
Prayer Topics:
- I pray that God give me the courage to be a public, out of the closet Christian. Through this maybe I can bring fellow friends, and peers to Christ.
- I pray that my relationships with others will be God centered.
- I pray for my bodily functions, because it's not working like it use to. =]
- I pray for my family who is spread out all over the world.
- I pray that God be able to use me at NLC, and just use me as the tool that he wants me to be.

| Key Verse: 7
Summary: It's almost time for passover to begin and Jesus and his disciples are chilling, while the religious leaders and high priest scheming for a way to kill off Jesus, but they got too scared because passover was about to begin and they didn't want the people riot. While Jesus and his disciples were staying in Alabaster, a women came into the place where Jesus was staying and poured some perfume over Jesus's head. When this happened the disciples started to hate on the women telling her that it's a waste of money using the perfume like that. To this, Jesus started rebuking the disciples, telling them not to be such haters. Jesus said that the poor people of the world will always be around but he will not. After this incident is when Judas goes to the high priests so that he can betray Jesus for some money. Jesus then sends two disciples into the city to find a place where he and his 12 can chillax and have their passover.
Application: Sometimes I do things to make myself look better. Whether it be helping someone out with moving things, or providing rides for people or even giving people advice, I sometimes do to boast in myself. In these versus the woman that poured the perfume on Jesus's head did so for his glory. She did it to prepare for his death and his glory. Instead of using the money for the perfume to give to the rich to make herself look better she used it on perfume for Jesus. Just like the women, I must try and do things not for the glorify myself, but to glorify God, to do all things with the right heart and mindset.
Prayer Topics:
- I pray that I may be able to stay strong in my studies and the God helps me concentrate more while writing papers and doing hw.
- I pray to be able to use my time wisely
- I pray that God continue to guard my heart, and stray away from objects and emotions that shouldn't matter to me.
- I pray that God continues to teach me patience by putting difficult obstacles in my life.
- Last of all I pray that God be able to work through me to bring a friend of mine from work to God. That I be a good christian like example whenever I am around him.

| Key Verse: 10
Summary: Jesus tells the Pharisees a parable about a man who plants a vineyard and sells it to a group of farmers. The man then sends a countless amount of servants to check up on the farm, each one of them getting either beaten or killed. The man who had made the vineyard is supposed to represent God while the servants are supposed to represent the numerous kings, prophets and God's written word that the people of earth have rejected or even has killed. The man eventually sends his son to the vineyard, who is supposed to represent Jesus Christ. He to is killed. Jesus then quotes a passage in Psalms basically saying that he himself is the capstone, which is a stone that is placed on the top of a finished building that is there to protect it. The pharisees then tried to arrested Jesus, but feared the crowd and just left.
Application: In these 12 verses, Jesus basically summarizes the whole bible. The parable is a story of how God made earth, put it in the hands of humans, and how we push away and reject God's wishes. When it comes to doing QT, or even trying to attend bible study on Wednesday nights, I tend to push these things aside, saying "well I'll do it tomorrow" or " I'll start going to bible study next week." . I directly reject God's will, and go about my own secular, worldly desires. In the bigger picture, the majority of this world is rejecting God, just like the parable that Jesus told, in which the servants and eventually the son keeps being rejected. Even though I know that it is God speaking directly to me, telling me to go do QT or to resist this certain sin, I continue to reject his will, eventually I will have to end this cycle, and live each daily fully for God.
Prayer Topics
- I pray for my own strength and will to be able to resist any sort of temptation that satan might throw in my way.
- For me to be able to manage my time and money correctly.
- My family that is spread around all over the world.
- My own heart, because it's being tested right now, and I don't want to be hurt.
- For my math teacher who got into a car accident Monday, and has not't been able to make it to class this whole week.
